Intermediate/Advanced

Intermediate/Advanced Class is an essential aspect of the wrestling journey for wrestlers in the 8th grade and below. It provides a platform for young athletes to hone their skills, improve their training, and have fun while doing so. One of the most critical aspects of youth practice is the emphasis on ensuring that young athletes enjoy the practice and appreciate the effort they put into their sport. This approach helps to keep them motivated and interested in wrestling, which is crucial for their long-term development in the sport. During these sessions, young wrestlers will learn both new and established techniques used by the best wrestlers in the sport. They will also participate in a range of activities, including sparring, conditioning, goal-setting, and mental training. All these activities are designed to help the young athletes develop into well-rounded wrestlers who can compete at a high level. Furthermore, they learn the importance of discipline, hard work, and teamwork, which are essential life skills that will serve them well beyond the wrestling mat. Overall, youth practice is an excellent opportunity for young wrestlers to lay the foundation for a successful wrestling career while having fun and making friends.

October 2nd - January 29th

HS/Open Room

HS/Open Room are designed to take our young athletes to the next level. We work with each individual wrestler to help them reach their full potential through a high level practice focusing on technique, position, situations, hard wrestling, and mental training. Our goal is to help these athletes strive for bigger and loftier goals, and we do this through belief, discipline, hard work, sacrifice, and a commitment to excellence. While we do allow 6th, 7th, and 8th graders into this program, it is important that they are mature enough to handle high school type practices and have the potential to make it to the HS State Tournament and place at High School state. We reserve the right to refuse a wrestler who is not prepared for our program.
